We are in port from 7am to 3pm. All excursions start at 8am and we are looking at getting a taxi to the beach or hanging around near Port if we don't get off the ship that early. is there anything to see and do around the port area? Thanks for the info.

Tortola is such a beautiful island. It is a big miss to not book a tour and visit a beach away from the port.

There are always shops open at the ports. You can do that.

there was a shopping area with a few restaurants and shop right after port,we did a tour since our first time it was 2 hours for $25, a extra $5 if you wanted to go by beach

Cane Garden Bay beach is a don’t miss on Tortola. Plenty of shared taxis in port to take you over if you’re later getting off ship, no need for ship excursion.
