Beautiful Island. Our Port of Call was Princess Cays which is part of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. We took a tender from our ship, the Carnival Liberty to the Island. Exiting the tender nto the Island was faily easy. Some of shops on the island allow you to use your ship card to buy things while others wanted cash. We had a great table while at the bar overlooking the swim area. The buffet lunched that was served was very simple in food. Hamburgers. Hot Dogs and all the trimmings. There were four lines which made it easy and fast to get your food. The men’s’ bathroom was very clean and there was an attendant standing outside the door to keep it clean. My wife said the same about the women’s bathroom. There were several shore exclusions you could do but we choose to just enjoy the beach area. There was a nice children’s play area called Pelican’s Perch which included a swimming pool. There was a "Point of Interest" map showing where everything was located on the Island. All in all, this is perhaps one of the best Port of Call Islands in the Bahamas.

This was way better than I thought it would be. I like the beach but not for long durations. We left after breakfast and with the Faster to the Fun (Highly recommend this) we got on the next shuttle with no waiting. Lots to do at the beach for free (brought our own snorkel/masks) and there were decent amount of colorful fish. Beaches were clean and chairs-a-plenty. I recommend going to the right when you get off its much less crowded but looks initially like you're headed "behind the scenes" but keep going over the bridge and you'll be fine. Lots of natural shade, if you want, and volleyball, bar and shops too. Eating will be easier there too because there are a lot less people. There are still plenty of chairs and cabanas if you want to rent the cabanas. The only down side of this beach is its more rocky in the water unless you walk a ways more but just wear water shoes or diving socks and it should be fine.

our cruise went to freeport and princess cays, this port was my favourite!! it was so beautiful you can go in up to your neck and see your toes on the bottom, no waves to knock you around and kick up sand everywhere, we didn't even snorkel and we saw so many fish swimming by our feet...I even saw a dogface pufferfish!! I would book a cruise that goes to princess cays again because it was beautiful... the locals that work there were kinda rude if you ask me....I said hello to a few and they blankly stared at me (you would think they would be appreciative of tourist fueling their economy) the only time they were friendly was when I was spending money in the shops, but it didn't ruin my time, we truly loved it there and didn't want to leave the lunch was basic, backyard BBQ food with a touch of Bahamian cuisine mixed in. I would go back its a perfectly planned beach day. what's there not to like?

We loved Princess Cays! Awesome snorkeling, calm beaches, good buffet, vendors were really nice and their handmade items are impressive! We enjoyed a day in the sun and wished we had 2 days there!

Princess Cay review: Blistering hot ($30 clamshell), south end is quieter but quite rocky! Sand is unforgiving (great workout!) Bring SPF, visor, strength!

We love Princess Cays❤️ it is a little rocky, we HIGHLY suggest water socks/shoes ! Very relaxing! Note: Carnival does bring food (hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, lemonade and such) to the island if you have the “drink packages” they do not work on the island, you do have to pay for drinks but you have to use sign and sail card also use sign and sail card in the little main souvenir shop. There are locals that sell items, that’s cash only.

I loved it! A free excursion with a beach and chairs and different shops to visit. And that’s where I met my traveling companions Lupe, Maria, and Bill! There may not be much to do there but I’m not complaining. I loved it! The only thing I didn’t like was that we had to eat the food they brought off the ship last I checked they said the island had jerk chicken and salted cod fish. But there was none. Oh well I still had fun!

This port was the perfect island getaway. Had to use the water shuttle service to get to the land and once there, everything was included (sans alcohol) as if we were still on the ship. If you're looking forward to a day on the beach with no worries, Princess Cays is for you!
