Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas Port Reviews

I really enjoyed relaxing at Ocean Cay. Wear sunscreen. Did the lighthouse tour which was cool. I also did the waverunner tour. Had a blast. It is challenging though. I did the twilight boat tour. I wouldn’t recommend that. The evening lighthouse show was just ok.

Weather and beach were perfect. Totally enjoyed our time at the island. Laser light show was cool.

This was a wonderful day. I don’t think you need to suggest to cruisers that they should secure umbrellas early as there was plenty of time. Also the beach bar service on the island was subpar as I waited twenty minutes and decided to leave. Suggestion..more bartenders on the private island.

Loved all the beaches...

MSC can cut out the Cape Canveral port, and spend two days on their Ocean Cay Marine Reserve. It’s a very relaxing day at the beach, and I didn’t hear any complaints about the buffet on the island, and there were many food trucks throughout the island. I ate lunch on board before leaving the ship. One of the card swipe stations to re-embark onto the ship was temporarily shut down, so the line to get back onboard was extremely long for about an hour, so people just got out of line and went back to the beach.

Nice island, we did have some rain but overall very nice.
