Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas Port Reviews

One of the most underrated ports in all of the Caribbean.

This was not our first time on the island and all of our previous experiences have been positive. Once again staff was unprepared for the number of people that would descend upon the island for the day. No drink service on the island even for the cabanas. Lunch line on island was 45 minutes long the entire time it was open, which was only for a few hours. The lines for the few free food trucks with burgers and fries were long as well.

it is a beautiful place but the lines for food were outrageously long and I felt invisible ordering drinks at the bars on Ocean Cay. We went back to ship to eat and drink. could not even find a t shirt as the few stores on shore were poorly stocked

Definitely not paradise as described by staff. Has potential when completed. A work in progress…

The captain was not able to anchor, they don’t have a dock. It is not the first time this happens. They didn’t discount anything or add anything because of it. So, we were at sea. Dissatisfied… however, we always manage to have a good time as a family even when things are not as we were hoping. Not expectations at all!

Absolutely beautiful island,but needs more beach chairs and umbrellas.

Beautiful island- very relaxing. I wish they had towel stations. My main complaint was the food situation. The line for the buffet was crazy. We ended up not eating there.

We had a lot of fun on the island, just enjoying a margarita

Wait wait wait. That's all we did waited to get the fish cone for my kids they didn't have it. Waited for In line for vanilla ice cream we had to wait 20 more minutes. Chocolate we had to wait tmsince they were short staffed. The 2 minutes after ice cream my kids tell me they seen someone was handed the fish cone.
