My husband was very impressed with the MSC island. It was clean, pretty and laid out nicely. Food had an obnoxiously long wait so we went back to the ship for lunch.

Pros: Beautiful water and very clean. Only negative was the beaches were slightly rocky in certain areas. If they can somehow clean the sand of all the small pebbles and coral, it will be perfect. Cons: On our last day, we went back to Ocean Cay instead of Costa Maya. (Costa Maya was cancelled due to bad weather.) Since this was a last minute change, the island was not equipped with the full food offerings like it was on our first stop. This meant that in order to get a meal, you had to go all the way back to the ship. Only one bar was open that day as well, which was at the lighthouse. I went to get a drink and waited 15 minutes for an employee to notice me. I was completely ignored. They kept helping other people but would walk right past me. Thankfully, another guest noticed that I had waited awhile and called one of the servers over and made them help me. They did so begrudgingly.

It's ok, but again most of the staff is rude and inattentive. And they start shutting everything down at 3pm, even the ship doesn't leave until later that night. I actually enjoyed the "Sir Bani Yas" Natural Island near Abu Dhabi and think it's better, at least for me. The food and staff is better too.

This was the most beautiful place! My most favorite 2 days of the cruise! The private island was stunning! Very relaxing. I could have stayed there for days!

I was quite impressed with the extent of walking paths, beach and swimming areas. Nice shops. The food line was horribly long and again, poor selection of food.

I actually liked this more then CoCo Cay. Yes it doesn’t have the trills of Coco Cay but it’s a beautiful island that really lets u unwind. Also we stayed over night on the island and I might actives were amazing!!! I will say the sand is a bit rocky in spots and the food trucks don’t have a huge selection.

Ocean Cay - I've seen the transformation of this island...it needs massive maintenance...broken speakers, broken lounge chairs, washed out areas, beaches strewn with broken coral, long lines for food and drink. - If this is a protected site for sea life why are snorklers reporting zero to minimal sea life?
