Out of my 3 Bahamas cruises, NCL was only able to stop here once. My understanding is they cancel this port frequently due to weather. Nonetheless it’s a beautiful island good to relax and a nice beach.

This was by far our favorite stop! I think we spent the whole day in the water! Plenty of food and drinks. The snorkeling was great too! A great was to end a great week!

We had a great time on the island. The family got to try snorkeling for the first time. ( We have since purchased our own gear to bring on our next trip)Pro: Seating areas all over the island, we grabbed chairs with an amazing view. Con: Have more areas with shade. When the sun started to get hot, it wasn't worth purchasing a tent as it was almost time to leave.

Without a doubt, GSC was the highlight of our trip. We reserved a clamshell and got on one of the first tenders out (clamshell is an excursion), rented some mats, and spent the whole day enjoying the beverage service, water, marine life (conch!) and beautiful scenery. The bottom was rocky, so I'd recommend water shoes!

We loved this private island. The weather was gorgeous, so you could see straight through the water. They have other water activities to take part in, but we decided to just beach bum it.

Great spot! Very crowded though. Bbq was good! Getting a tinder back was horrible though. Norwegian breakaway really need to improve this process or run more tinder's. We waited in line for 1.5 hours for a tinder with no water... then another 20 minutes to get off the boat. Beach was beautiful but rocky.

We didn't go ashore due to rain. It's a beautiful island though. We visited the island in 2014. We had a great time then. It appears the island has been renovated since 2014.

This island is beautiful and the water is amazing. Snorkeling was not bad once you got out past the small island and into deeper water. Watch for the seagulls during meal time. Overall very enjoyable

First the good. Really enjoyed snorkeling around the big rock. Water was beautiful and really liked that you could hear the music out on the water. Food was good and the service was nice. And now for the less pleasant. We were very disapointted by all the broken glass and plastic trash on the shoreline and some of the other guests behavior. You can't control other people but you can control the amount of trash by having more trash/recycling containers.

Great Stirrup Cay had a total power failure while we were enroute there. The ship diverted to Nassau, Bahamas. Nassau port is overrun with vendors wanting to sell you anything and everything. They are agressive and get in your face. Not pleasant.
