I feel like I can’t really rate the area, because we never left the port. We went to Fat Tuesday and had a couple of daiquiris. We did a lot of souvenir shopping for family. It was a nice and easy day. Nothing negative to say.

The port itself is terrible, half the stores are closed, mostly nic nac stands and 2 bars. There was a food court area that was unique it was a group of small food stands and a band area, didn't get to try them but was cool. Defintly need to plan to go somewhere. We went to Paradise Cove which was nice. There are several packages an options, including snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding. We did the snorkel package for $40, included equipment and transportation to and from the port. Lockers were $5. There was about 40 - 50 people so it didn't feel crowed at all. It had a bar and resturant on site. The food was OK it really needed seasoning, we had cracked conch and fries. The prices seemed fair. Had a couple sands grapefruit beers and loved them! The beach was beautiful and nice. We snorkeled off the beach, due to rough seas we were told to stay on the beach side of the rocks which was mostly seagrass there was some coral, from what I understand the coral is mostly on the ocean side of the rocks, but it was too rough to go there while we were there. Did see a fair number of fish but the highlight was the Sea turtles! We saw 2 and the had no problem with us following nearby a few times we almost ran in to them because of the current but it was fun to see. I would gladly go to Paradise Cove again but would hope it was on a calm day.

Had a fun day at Freeport. We made sure to book an excursion because there isn't a ton to do other than the shops directly off the ship. Dolphin Close Encounter was the highlight of our trip.

Omg! Dream come true! Got to swim and interact with the dolphins even though mine eyed me sideways. She warmed up to me though. It was a phenomenal experience to be up close and personal and learn so much about these beautiful animals! Our teacher was beyond hilarious as well. After everything negative I’ve heard, we were allowed to take pics and video this experience AND the photos they take of the “kiss” did not cost an arm and leg to purchase like we were led to believe. However it may have been this one location that was understanding about our memories and we lucked out in picking the right one. It was truly magical (although the water was CCCOOOOLLDDD) Would do again and again.

Was raining the first time we went here. This time we had great weather. I liked all the little shops. The people didn't seem to be as pushy as they are in Nassau.

No hounding to buy anything. We found a great taxi drive named Adrian Mortimer, (242)804-0291 guys was great. Great personality, we met his father during our taxi tour, helped us find things and provided refreshments.

Port was nice and clean when we arrived. Taxi system was a rip off. They lie to your face and try to get everyone to one beach where you have to pay again and again. I'm sure they get kick backs. Also cans dont move unless they are full to capacity and the rates they publish on the boards there are bs... It gets a one only because the port was cleaner than Nassau

We did the glass bottom boat, we really enjoyed it. Great crew and took us to good places to see fish and sharks and did some shopping and stop by Senor Frog
