Nice little shopping area close to ship to just to go for a walk and get off the ship for a bit.

Our favorite port on the trip due to our excursion. It’s an industrial ship port that you dock at so there isn’t anything near the ship besides some shops and restaurants. I recommend doing an excursion or taking a taxi to banana bay. We took an excursion to Grand Lucayan national park to see some caves and the famous gold rock beach. Both of these were absolutely beautiful and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to information. After about an hour and a half there, they take you to banana bay restaurant and beach. The food here is delicious! The staff was super friendly and the facilities were clean. The beach was so pretty and I would love to visit here again.

Not my favorite port, but I had to go here to get to Half Moon Cay. There is some shopping and a couple of bars on the pier, we choose to stay onboard and have a pool day which turned out to be a greatly good day.

Just got back from our cruise on the Carnival Ecstasy. The port in Freeport is not much to see. Typical shopping, Senor Frogs etc. It's an industrial port so no beach right there. We booked a snorkeling adventure with Paradise cove directly through them. There were people directing you where to wait and it was a short bus ride to the cove. The water was crystal clear. The food was good and beer was cold. Maybe a little over priced but i expect that. The current was a little strong for inexperienced snorklers the day we were there making it difficult to get all the way out to the reef. Overall a great day. Nathan, our driver and everyone else was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back.

The people were very pushy at some of the places. They wanted you to buy their products and would follow you around to try and get you to.
