Family beach day was fun! My son loved Vashti and the other childcare lady. Food was local fare and yummy! The people on this island are the nicest I've ever met.

Queenie made our trip perfect! Can’t wait to go back. Next time, we will be taking school supplies and such. I’ve never met kids who were so respectful. Nothing like the kids in the US who think that they’re entitled.

The port is very industrial but for the few restaurants and t-shirt shops right near the ship. Freeport suffered severe damage from the hurricane and it hasn't recovered. There is nothing to do close by so we had to take a taxi to Junkanoo Beach. On the close to 20 minute drive over you could see the closed and boarded up hotels. Junkanoo Beach and the adjacent beaches are just ok. There are vendors that walk up and down the beach selling stuff. They vendors were all very nice and my wife bought some handmade bracelets and a necklace. Our taxi driver was also very nice. I'm glad we were able to give a little financial support to the local economy as I think they really need it. Other than having met a few nice people I would not return to Freeport.

It was fine. No problems here. Took excursion to beach with open bar and they had other activities on beach for you to do for an addtl. Price if you wanted(jet ski, banana boat ride etc.) Come back with plenty of time to walk the shops that are located right outside by where the ship is docked.

Always enjoyed going here. Always got some sort of Bahamian beer and a cigar. Haven’t been since the Hurricane so hopefully things are improving. Won’t be going anytime soon though.

Not my favorite port. But we did go on the glass bottom boat and saw a lot of sharks which was amazing. Not much to do on this port. Not a pretty port either. Last time I was here went to Port Lacaya and it was ok.
