Hello friends! Are there shared van/shuttles to the beach in Freeport? If so, which beach and how much does it cost per person? Is it crowded? Please share your experience. TIA!

Thank you for the info! I’m sailing today with our almost 2 year old and debated on taking the cat seat but now I know there’s shuttles.

I can now answer my own question for anyone else who might be wondering! There are shared vans available off to the left side when getting off the ship, just past the shops. We went to Taino Beach but there were others going different places, like to the Port Lucaya Marketplace. It was a little disorganized. The cost was $14pp round trip. Bring exact change. It was about a 20 min drive and the van had AC. We were dropped off in front of Pirate’s Cove. They give you tickets to get back to the ship whenever you were ready to leave. There is an entrance fee at Pirate’s Cove, I think around $12pp, and additional charges for chairs, umbrellas, drinks, food, activities, etc. It is also crowded. We did not go there. We walked just around to the left past Stoned Crab where we accessed Taino beach for free. There were several pushy venders selling things on the beach and no facilities for use. We brought our beach tent and snacks. The beach was beautiful. Hope this helps someone!
