Great private island. I loved the beach day I had on this island. I was able to find a secluded beach and have the clear waters and white sand all to myself. This was before all the “perfect day” stuff so I can’t comment on that.

My wife and I usually sail Celebrity but we wanted to take the kids and grandkids on a cruise a d knew that Royal Caribbean was a much better choice for kids. We had not been to Cococay in many years and this was our first trip back since the new makeover. We were the only ship there and it was great. There were plenty of available lounges and umbrellas. The beaches were beautiful and the pool was very nice too. The swim up bar was huge but still lacked enough seating. We brought our own snorkeling gear and really enjoyed the snorkeling area. Plenty of fish and wildlife to see. The food at the Chill Grill was very good and we never had a problem finding someone to grab us a drink. There are some local vendors selling the typical souvenirs which is cash only. They actually had two waterparks, the one with the huge slides was an extra fee and the other was perfect for small children. We spent the entire day in different areas of the island and didn't have to spend an extra penny to thoroughly enjoy ourselves. Royal Caribbean knows their demographic and it showed at Perfect Day At Cococay.

Coco Cay has something for everybody to enjoy. There are more than enough chair/ loungers at the pool and beaches. Many food options. There are also tram cars available to shuttle you around the island. Best port of the cruise !

Loved this little island we just played in the ocean. Food was good with a nice selection. Also did the Glass bottom tour. Our guides was the best. One Even got off the boat to dive for live stuff to bring up for us to touch. Would definitely recommend this.

What a change to an already great island. Royal Caribbean out did themselves on this one. Sure gives all the other cruise lines something to shoot for. I will gladly book another cruise with this spot on the itinerary.
