Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island) Port Q&A

4.1
I’m told there’s always 2 ships that dock there and with full capacity now potential there’s up to 12,000 passengers. That’s said shades and lounge chairs may be hard to come by if docking later. Does anyone know if we can bring our own sun shelter? Don’t want to pack if it’s prohibited. Thanks

Check cruise mapper to see if you will be "sharing" the island that particular day. Even with 2 Oasis class ships, no need to bring any additional equipment; plenty of umbrellas and chairs around the multiple beach areas.

as I understand, they never have 2 Oasis class ships on the same day. at least before the world ended, they didn't. Finding seating shouldn't be an issue between chill island or Oasis lagoon

They always gave two ships there everyday. One gets there early to setup and the one that comes later cleans up at the end of the day. When we were there back before Covid, we were on the small Grandeur and there was a much larger ship that dwarfed Grandeur. Of course both ships were at full capacity and it never seemed over crowded on Coco Cay.
