If given another chance, I would have taken the Louisbourg excursion. There was little to see in Sydney.

Rainy day. We walked through town on the rain. Not very exciting.

This is a nice, small town, but there is not much to do here. We were not impressed the the shore excursion options (too much time on a bus). Perhaps if we ventured further away from the port we would have enjoyed it more.

We went to the Fortress of Louisbourg and it was very interesting. Didn’t expect this. The Sydney port area is small, but walkable.

Not much to do, but it is a nice walk around the town, and there are a lot of murals on the walls in the town.

Nice stop but didn’t have much to do for us. Excursions were too long and too expensive.

Not much to see

Be wary of the unhoused population. This port was not very welcoming, and there wasn't much to do on your own. We did a self curated, self-guided walking tour, but there wasn't a lot to see in the harbor area. It might be worth it to purchase an excursion for this port.

We went down into the coal mines. Very interesting. Great scenery along the way.
