There is really not much to see here. The tour to the Reversing Falls is not really worth it. In order to get a better idea of the huge tidal changes here, you need to go on the Hopewell Rocks tour.

Walked out to Reversing Falls at Bay of Fundy. We didn’t get to see the tide change but had an invigorating walk. About 6 miles round trip. The port area is being renovated so now it’s not very scenic.

The reversing rapids were cool, but the city was rather sad.

Small port, not much to do. We did not do an excursion. We heard from other passengers that the excursions were not great.

Our ship was docked far away from the prime dock so we missed our tour and had to walk around town.

Again nothing to do. Its just tourist traps with even less to do.

The port employees here were awesome. They apologized for the delay with Carnival. They walked around making sure everyone was ok. They offered assistance to anyone that needed to sit and avoid the heat. The port was amazing but Carnival was awful. We were not welcomed or greeted when boarding the ship. I hate giving Saint John a low score but Carnival employees were awful especially when we tried to speak with the associates at guest services. Carnival blamed Saint John for all the problems but Saint John port authorities apologized for any inconvenience and stated they had never had this problem with any other cruise ship.
