SAGUENAY, QUEBEC, CANADA Port Reviews

We utilized the NCL Easy Walk at Saguenay National Park tour. This one was interesting in the fact that the Tour Busses were actually School Busses. We weren't quite sure what to make of that, but it turned out very well. The bus was pretty comfortable, and we had no issues seeing out the windows. This was a 4 plus hour tour, with about 2 hours of it driving time. We had a great guide for our walking tour who was extremely knowledgeable about the surroundings and the history of the Fjord's. We hiked for nearly 1 1/12 hours and saw some fantastic sights. We were also very fortunate to get to see some the trees that were already changing into the fall colors. This is an easy/moderate hike, but well worth it.

Great place with a small craft market that was very nice.

Not much to see within walking distance of the cruise port but there is a lovely National Park for the adventurous.

The town is very inviting to visitors but there is very little to do. We had rain and it was pretty miserable outside.

While this port was welcoming, there wasn't much to do beyond one block from the boat. However, there is a fitness path that runs along the entire harbor (5 miles or so) that is easily walkable or bikeable. What makes this stop remarkable is the ride in through the fjord. It would be worth splurging on a seaplane or helicopter tour to see it (though it's not like fjords in Norway or Iceland).

So easy to do Montmorency falls on you own.

Took a zodiac ride in the fjord. I highly recommend this. Plus it was easy to get into and out of the boat.

Small port with not a lot of shops or things to do

Booked our own excursion around the city and the huge dam (water fall) at the Bec-Scie Outdoor Centre. Well worth while.
