This is an absolutely beautiful city and does not require an excursion to enjoy the area to the fullest. It was the highlight of the trip for all in my family.

Quebec City was a surprize to us. Very beautiful city with much to see. We did not take the ship's excursion, but hired our own tour guide who did a great job.

We loved Quebec and plan to return. We walked all around the town, took photos, familiarized ourselves with its history, shopped for souvenir clothing and had an enjoyable dinner. We visited many of the notable sights. We did not do an excursion.

Quebec is a great city. It is beautiful, clean and has plenty of history. Travel early or stay a few days after, depending if this is your embarkation or disembarkation port.

Beautiful, clean city. And very picturesque. It was cold and windy (in the 40s and windy), but it was a sunny day. Did Hop on Hop Off bus around town, had a great lunch in Old Town and enjoyed walking around the shops. It was Canadian Thanksgiving, so a lot of restaurants were closed, but we still found a place to go.

Enjoyed a self tour, we walked everywhere including Break Neck stars. Make sure you have a CC for ease in purchases. We did not need Canadian $ anywhere in Canada. Used Amex no transaction fees.

We had 3 days in Quebec City prior to getting on the cruise ship. The city and surrounding areas are beautiful and enriching. We will come back again for a longer stay.

I did an excursion with our vegan group where we took a motor coach around the area. I did not like it at all. There was no time to explore the city. We spent all our time in the coach listening to a guy drone on and on. The only highlight was Montmorency Falls. I could've done that on my own with a taxi.

Oui oui! Merci! Absolutely beautiful and historic city. Tons to see and do! Definitely bring some binoculars to see the beautiful architecture in their infrastructure. Their food is definitely French and European. So us Americans may be taken back by duck liver and deer chili. So use your Yelp. :)
