We rented a car and drove to the fjords but the statue was closed so we could only hike part way up.

Walked into town and then walked along the bay. Very nice walk.

Not much there. You will need to do an excursion or rent a car, which is what we did. It's a lovely area to drive around. Not touristy.

Not much to see in the town and minimal shopping/eating establishments within walking distance of the ship. Easy off/on. In hindsight should have done excursion. We did not do one.
