Boston, Massachusetts Port Q&A

4.4
In Boston, at the Flynn Cruiseport, if you have recently gone on a cruise, just for their security screening before getting on the ship, has anyone asked to have a carry-on "hand inspected" or hand checked rather than having the carry-on go through the x-ray?Since there is no "TSA" at cruise ports, I don't know how security works especially in Boston.

I’m not sure what you mean by “No TSA at cruise ports,” but when I boarded at the Black Falcon Terminal last fall, me and my bags went through the X-rays just like at the airports. It was quick, total of about 30-45 minutes from parking to walking onto the ship.

Assuming you have a medical reason but they should accommodate.
