Didn’t explore, we went straight from the bus to ship, but it was gorgeous scenery.

Just disembarked and picked up a car. Very easy to do. Allow time to get through the one-way tunnel to Anchorage - we had to wait about 1/2 hour.

We paid to take the 7 hour tour bus! We loved the driver who was very knowledgeable about all the local information! He told some stories that ended in jokes. From then on out, I didn't know if the stories he told were going to be true or if they were just jokes. I still don't know if Buzzwinkle is a real story or something he made up.

Disembarkation was smooth. We headed directly to Denali from port.

Our embarkation was very smooth in Whittier!

Get the halibut at the Anchor Inn. Worth the walk

Unfortunately terrible weather with gale force winds and lots of rain.

Nothing here folks. Seward is a much better port.

Didn't spend any time in the port, except to get a bus to Anchorage, which was the beginning of our "land" part of our Alaska trip.

Took a trolley tour which was very good. Loved all the beautiful flowers and we saw a moose!
