Such a beautiful city

Vancouver is just beautiful. Lovely people, great food and a rich history to explore. We flew in the day before to give us time to venture out (it's our first time in Canada). We went on a Lost Souls of Gastown walking tour and it was fabulous. We found some small coffee/bakery shops to enjoy and the hotel we stayed at before boarding (Days Inn) was about a 5-7min walk to the port.

Vancouver, BC - It rained a bit the day arrived. I stayed at Hotel BLU and it was awesome. The area reminded me of Downtown L.A. with all the shops and entertainment. I ate at Black Rice, FIve Guys and a slushy place. I would like to spend more time here, my driver told me about this small island that would have been awesome to visit.

There are a lot of things to do and see in Vancouver if you have a few days before or after your cruise.

I wish we had had more time to spend in Vancouver as it is clearly a beautiful city. We stayed at the Pan Pacific Hotel, located above the embarkation to the ship, which was a big plus. I thought it was a tad over-priced, as it wasn't anything that special. We enjoyed our stay though.

Ports our Great. Unfortunately, more ships at port at a time causing way too many people on the streets and shops.

Beautiful city, very pristine and clean, border patrol was very very rude!

If you have time rent a car for the day and download an audio app and do a guided tour of the city. It’ll take about three or four hours and it is very informative. If you organize yourself ahead of time, sign up with Evo (car share app). You step off the ship and literally 30 seconds away there are vehicles that you can just step in to, then drop off at the airport, $89 for the day.

Loved Vancouver. Spent 3 days here. The port was horrible. Unorganized and no directional signs. Uber driver didn’t know where to go, almost dropped us off at a hotel even though we gave him the correct address to the port. The port employees seemed as confused as we were. Crowded. All ships are in the same line and people were irritated. Not a great experience at all.
