Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia Port Reviews

Loved visiting Vancouver prior to our embarkation. Stanley Park is beautiful - we visited the Totem poles, the lighthouse, and saw sea otters in the quay.

No excursion - direct to airport

Our first visit and was impressed.

We left out of Vancouver before (previous cruise to Alaska) and had no problems pre-Covid. However, as I mentioned before, we had issues with Covid testing results because the port employees didn't seem to have current information. We were the first group of the day, so hopefully the groups after us didn't have to deal with any issues.

Came one day early. Did not do an excursion.

I board at Vancouver Canada. It was ok

Since we tested positive at the airport (thought we had a mild cold from the chilly air watching the glaciers), we spent two nights waiting for a seat on the bus (all the buses were full for two days) to Seattle. Just another big city but some friendly folks there.

This city is beautiful and one of my favorites to visit in the summer & early fall. I did not book any excursions through the cruise line but did enjoy some on my own. I did a speedboat tour of the bay and a seaplane ride over Vancouver. The weather was spectacular. It’s a great walking city too. I love Vancouver! I would love to see an Oasis Class ship at Vancouver - but I’m not sure it good get under the bridge - so Quantum Class may just be the largest ship that Canada Place can accommodate.
