Anchorage was cute small town with good restaurants. Absolutely need a reservation. We eventual walked in to Orso and loves the salmon with gin and vodka tasting flights for only $15 for 3 x2 oz

From start to finish, the disembarkation was very organized, stress free and boarding the bus 2.5 hours to Anchorage for the Hospitality center in order to catch later flights. I felt safe and all questions were answered by very helpful and friendly personnel. I did not see Seward but the ride to Anchorage was beautiful.

One star purely because the ACT big bus had such a huge delay and even though it told everyone to be ready at 10am, with a departure at 10:30am, we couldn’t actually board until 10:40am due to the bus actually ferrying passengers to the cruise terminal and many of them don’t want to take their luggage so that had to be dropped off elsewhere. It was a big mess that endangered my flight home, but sadly the cruise terminal is 2.5 hours away from the airport and only 2 companies are operating buses there. Other passengers were saying that they much prefer the Florida ports.

Disingenuous to say the cruise is Anchorage to Vancouver. It’s a $380 cab ride south of Anchorage. If it’d said Seward in the advertisement I would have looked it up on a map and not have made this cruise. Never again…. They have a bus available but not for me since I booked within 3 days of sailing. Do that and you are on your own to find a hotel in Anchorage or a ride to the port. The port and embarkation themselves were pleasant experience.

Just an embarkation port; there's nothing to do. You better spend your extra time in Anchorage, which is about 120 miles away, by the way.

Take major marine boat into Kenai fjords if you arrive early. Transport best option from Anchorage is the train. Great scenery

You don’t need an excursion here. Took NCL’s shuttle to the cute town and visited the aquarium. The town has shops and restaurants.

We got to Seward the day before the cruise and went to the sea life world.
