We stayed here three days after the cruise. Id say thats the perfect amount of time for this area. Take a small boat cruise to see the local glaciers or wildlife. Safari Lodge is a great place to stay.

Not much to do

Took a walk to the aquarium. Aquarium was excellent, however, if youre not in good shape, take the free shuttle!

Worth seeing this city. Anchorage is so interesting

Dock seemed more industrial and port was over 100 miles from Anchorage. Had to have additional transportation to get to the airport in Anchorage. This was not mentioned when reserving the cruise and added a significant "excursion" cost to the amount spent.

Seward is small and some of the town was closed already for the season. We visited the Alaska Sea Life Center. If was interesting. That is where we got on the bus for our 5 day land package

ACT big bus to airport.

Were only in Seward long enough to catch the bus for Anchorage. What a dump that was. Drug addicts, prostitutes, and dealers around almost every corner. I forgot that it has one of the highest violent crime rates in the whole U.S. Praying for better days ahead for Anchorage ?

The Silversea train broke down on the way to the port so we had to backtrack and then get a bus. Communication was poor about the process.

Great town. Small. The free bus is great but be careful. It gets very full late in the day, making it hard to get back to the ship.
