I was a little concerned about this port, but I really lucked out with awesome weather and a great walk around Fort Abercrombie, saw Orca there and the military museum is really cool, lots of stuff from signal corp.

Even though it was a Sunday, there were many stores open that locals would need with a few gift type shops. Not a town big on commercialism. Library opened from 1 to 5 for internet.

Holland provided a free shuttle via school bus to downtown area. Rented a car for the day to explore this port.

We enjoyed some fresh fish and seafood, and the National Park office, but time was limited so we didn't get to see too much

I had been to Kodiak before. There is not much there. The transportation from the ship to the town was very limited so I stayed on the ship and had a pedicure.
