We enjoyed this port. We walked around and took the free tram. Cruise Director, Andy’s, polar plunge was fun to watch. Wish I would have done it too!

The only nice thing about this was an opportunity to stretch your legs after a long day at sea. This was not on our initial itinerary, a replacement for Ketchikan. Not what we had signed up for.

Way too much time in this port and not enough in the next 2. Did the zipline and it was fun and not scary but a lot of waiting for a short thrill. Did lots of hiking. Too much time to shop and items are more expensive here. Might have gone on an excursion if I had understood this.

Ok, but not my favorite. We did take an excursion on the tram to the top of the mountain where we walked the guided path and learned of the area.

This port is still being built out to be a viable cruise ship destination. It will get better as they continue to complete their build-out plans.

We were to go to Skagway, that Port was canceled. Sadly disappointed because we were to ride the train up to White Pass. Icy Strait Point was interesting with the story telling on the excursion up the mountain on a tram!

Only thing we did is get off the ship and ride up the gondola…. Look around for maybe half hour then ride it back down and get back on ship… was really looking forward to Skagway since it was canceled 4 years ago due to rough seas at that time and this time it was the rock slide over the railroad tracks near the dock
