NCL docks in a weird place. We took the paid gondola to the top of a mountain just for a look out point. The free gondola takes you to a little town with shops. From there you can take a shuttle to get you to another town that is not NCL owned and operated. Too little time to do that after riding to top of paid gondola.

Whale excursion was excellent. Logistics to get off the ship to participate once again poor. Conflicting information on where to go and when.

Tram and forest tour were good. DON'T eat at the crab shack. Crab was too pricey and way overcooked. Another tourist trap.

Hoonah was fine, but the weather was a little iffy. We enjoyed hiking in the woods and hills.

We took a whale watching excursion with Glacier Wind Charters. One of the best excursions ever.

canceled due to weather---although sister ship ncl encore which had same itinerary did not cancel their port call?

Loved this! Did a Jeep tour and saw spectacular views.

Great for whale watching, eagles, wildlife. But a rough if your handicap.
