Best food we had all cruise!!

A very small touristy town. The treetop rope course was already closed by the time the ship pulled in (2pm), which was disappointing.

Tourist trap. You can walk around the area right by the ship for free that takes all of about 15 minutes. But the tour activities are all working in kahhootz and the prices are ridiculous.

I felt like we spent too long in Hoonah when Sitka was cut short.

Went on a tribal tour and had a great time. Tour guide had a nice personality and very informative.

Loved the godola. Pay the extra. It is worth it, and ride it a few times!

Hoonah left me with added appreciation for the life we have. Enjoyed the nature.

The whale watching excursion was great.

Not much infrastructure. The cannery exhibit was embedded in a gigantic gift shop. The scenery was grand. If you can afford a shore excursion here, this is probably the best way to spend the day. As we did not, we spent about 30 minutes walking around the dock shops and then enjoyed onboard activities.

The gondola was nice. It would've been better if the whole valley hadn't been covered up by fog. But the ride was fun. The best part was we took the whale watching tour through the cruise line, and we saw lots and lots of humpback whales! We get to see them spout and see their tails.
