Who cares? What a waste of money for an excursion (Forest Top Tram Ride). Would not recommend. Do not want to go again. Could've skipped this port to spend more time in Ketchikan/Victoria.

Time in port was too short. No excursion.

This port feels much more "wildernessy", which was nice. There isn't as much to do here unless you're paying for an excursion. We did enjoy the tribal dance show and cannery museum. Don't bother taking the shuttle into Hoonah. There's nothing there to see or do.

This was the most disappointing. The town is nonexistent, there is nothing to do unless you book an excursion. We did, however, do a Whale watch here, that was the best part of the day. But by the time we did that and then walked to the center of town, to discover there was not even a restaurant to eat at, we walked back to the port to find the restaurants there were closed, the zip line, closed, the gondola closed, with 4 more hours in port, we sat on the boat.

Another port we were excited to see was Skagway, which was on the itinerary when we sailed and we had booked several excursions. Somewhere en route, NCL, without clear discussion with its passengers, took Skagway off the itinerary and substituted Icy Strait Point. This became our port with the greatest amount of time but also offered almost nothing worthwhile in the way of excursions! A real bust and major Strike 2.

Enjoyed the native art, etc but seemed truly developed for tourism. No real feel of Alaska. Plus why there instead of beautiful Skagway.

Gondola ride was super fun. Took a guided trail walk. Went to Hoonah cannery. It was fun. Not that many cruisers did explorer this island.

This port was a substitute for Skagway, which was the main port we wanted to see. Unfortunately due to the rock slides, we had to go to Icy Strait. I actually enjoyed Icy Strait. Again many things were closed, but it is a cute little town, easy to walk, and the tram ride up to the wilderness trail was fun.

An interesting place. Sort of a "wilderness experience" built for cruises. A few shops and a lift to the nearby summit to get to the zip line or "adventure park". If the weather had been better we might have done these, but took the whale watching cruise instead, which was worthwhile.

Stayed onboard as rain and a long walk to view a Alaskan village.
