Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska Port Reviews

Took a wildlife excursion on Princess t see bears. Although we did not see any, Alexandra, our guide, was knowledgeable and we enjoyed ourselves in beautiful scenery.

Not much here except a gift shop. Don't bother going to Hoonah village. That was a waste of time as there was absolutely nothing there. I rode the $5 shuttle and returned back as soon as possible.

Zipline is a MUST!!!

Neat little port, the gondola to the top of the mountain is a must; great views!

Raining so bad, just buy some gifts.

I booked the Icy Strait Exclusive Wildlife and Bear Search thru Alaska Shore Excursions.com and it was awesome. Highly recommend booking with them and the price was great. Easy to get to from the ship and our guide was fantastic. I don't remember his name but he was young and had been in the Marines. Super nice guy...you can tell he really loves his home state.

The whale watching tour was terrible and they.. specifically Albert and the girl from Dallas here rude.

We were supposed to go to catch a cat not icy points. There was not much there and it was a disappointment.

Not much going on here, but if you want to ride a zip line, that looked fun.
