my pregnant wife and i were able to get down and walk around and see the region with no issues and was just beautiful

Went whale watching and saw plenty of whales and sea otters. Amazing!

No excursion, so we got to look around a bit and the wife got to do some shopping. The gondola trip up the mountain was cool!

Tram ride has no protection at all from rain or elements. Avoid on a rainy day.

We got wrong instructions to excursion and miss it.

Our ship excursion was the self drive Jeeps. It was absolutely a thrill. Definitely recommend it.

Very nice port, road gondola did some shopping. Saw eagles and small buck deer. Some people saw whale jump right by ship.

My favorite port. From the smell of the bonfires when you arrive to the hiking opportunities, this is a unique port that is NOT about t shirt shops.

Not a favorite. The whale and marine excursion was overcrowded, there were no other marine mammals, and was not as described or pictured. I would rank the excursion as 0 stars. It was awful.

The area right off the ship was lovely. The beach was fun to stroll along and finding sea stars and sea urchins. The Native shops were so much nicer than anywhere else we stopped. Do not waste your time walking to Hoonah. It was very run down and a bit seedy.
