If the weather is okay then walk into Hoonah just to experience genuine Alaska living. Quaint town with some places to see but walking in allows you to see things that the shuttle doesn't stop for - maybe some wildlife will appear either in the forest or in the sea. The gondola ride was closed for the season which was a pity as it's a free ride through the forest. Was great to see whales as they made their way through the channel.

A waste of a stop. This was just a tourist trap with possible money for the cruise line. Being on the ocean or having more time in the other ports would have been better.
