We did the sky glider and trail tram. After those, we worked our way to Hoonah. We stopped at an ocean side restaurant, which was beautiful! As much as I want to support the locals, our meal consists of a burger and fries, fish sandwich (I think it was Halibut), and fries. And 2 diets coke. It was over $65 + tip!! A little too much, I thought, but after hearing a pound of hamburger is $18. I now know why. While in Hoonah we went to a veteran owed shop, they were very friendly with lots of stories. We also went to a pub, there we found the limit per person was 36 Oz. They give a card marking how many you have had. One pint, 12 Oz. We had 2 more points, lol!

This was an interesting place. We walked to the town about 2 miles. Rained a lot more than other locations. We really enjoyed this location.

It was raining cats and dogs during this day. We couldnt even see out the window while we ate in the Tamirand.

Tourist trap. $50 usd gondola was a rip off since all the trails were closed due to bear sightings. Hard pass on the $22 pp cultural show was disorganized but felt like we were supporting the locals. Avoid the long lineups at gondola to the right as the very best part was the hike to Crab House for snow crab a blood mary which is a meal in itself. Tip: go straight to the bar and avoid 40 min lineup to order.
