It was amazing ! . Bears & Whales watch . Our tour guide ( don't remember his name ) was awesome. But he needs a speaker or speak louder . We were sitting at the very back of the bus and couldn't hear what he was saying. But once on our tour he was great and very informative . There was another man with a " bear gun " whi was great as well . PS: It did help thar both of them were very handsome 😍

We did not book an excursion here. We did walk all the way to Hoonah and back and the walk is not worth it at all. Hoonah is a tiny, rundown town with nothing to do. I recommend getting off the ship long enough to see bald eagles (they nest in the treetops close to the dock) and go down to the shore to see all the colorful starfish in the water. There were a few shops close to the ship where you could pick up some nice souvenirs.

Again did excursion. No time to see much. Did the Jeeps. Not sure it it was worth it. Not much to see with talk trees on both sides

The only port we had a full day to explore and this is not a town, it is a cruiseship port with a few shops, overcrowded restaurants and minimal excursions. Too much time in this port - it should have been reallocated to have more time in Juneau and Victoria.

This is the smallest place I've been to on any cruise but culturally very interesting and fun going into the town of Hoonah and around the cannery or the top of the mountain.
