Last year we went to Alaska. I brought a book bag and my roller board . Plenty of clothes and did not overpack. It can work. Think layers as you can always remove an xtra shirt or jacket you have on if u get too warm. A beanie for your head- if you have a balcony you will get some wind even though the ship is going slow but it'll keep the heat in. We had great weather when we went in May last year only one rainy day. Check out YouTube channel: EECC packing for Alaska

I bring outfits that can be worn different ways such as 2-3 linen pants and I just alternate between a few tops, one black dress for formal night, a light sweater or jacket comfortable shoes and a couple pair of shorts or capris with a few tanks. rule of thumb def no need to overpack since you usually wear the same thing most days.

I'm not too sure about that. You're going to freaking Alaska where the weather is completely unpredictable. Not to mention it's a 7-Day Cruise and it sounds like you're going to be washing your tidy whities in the sink every night

You’ve seen “ Friends” right? Remember episode with Joey where he has all the clothes on? That’s how you do Alaska with a carry on. For real.

YouTube has all the answers. I'd start obsessing if I were you. 😉 I have been for months now.

When I went to Alaska, I brought my flannel jammies with polar bears on them, my hot water bottle and a bottle of Southern Comfort. There were gale force winds, sideways rain, and I sat on the balcony wrapped in my parka and a blanket. I think you can do that in a carry on.

maybe when it's all over you can make a YouTube video called "Why it's not a good idea to go on a 7-Day cruise to Alaska with just a carry on and a book bag" 😸

Well, a bit of extra clothing for one…your needed toiletries unless you want to buy everything onboard. Any medications.
