The ship didn't get anywhere near the Glacier - too much ice. I suppose that was not surprising given the relatively early date of this cruise. However, this possibility should be high-lighted for anyone planning to actually see Hubbard Glacier.

Alaska is always a luck of the draw kind of place because of changing weather. Our day cruising Hubbard Glacier was foggy, and the glacier wasn't actively calving. We visited Hubbard Glacier on a prior trip and it was clear and the glacier was active. Not a slam on NCL or Alaska at all, just the nature of the beast when viewing nature.

Not really a port. You get as close to the glacier on the ship as possible for that day. We got pretty close. They did a nice job with food and drinks out on the decks to enhance the experience.

We did not do an excursion but crowded onto one of the outside decks to take photos of the glacier. Amazing to see. (very cold and windy here as well)

Catamaran was great, and we highly recommend it. The process used to board the catamaran was not good - many passengers packed into BB King Bar area.
