Absolutely Incredible experience

We spent a whole day looking at glaciers and waiting for chunks to fall.

This is a day at sea disguised as doing something. The glacier was okay to view but would have enjoyed more time in ports (Victoria mostly)

Cold and rainy day, couldn't see much

Hubbard Glacier is my favorite. We actually caught a small calving

The Captain was too cautious or ??? to cruise to Hubbard because of a ?storm, so sails us out to the open sea to Seward directly? At one of the ports the Port workers were yelling at “Joe” the ? Captain to use his brain and/or get some help to parallel park the ship which he took forever and in calm waters we booked the cruise to see the Hubbard Glacier and of course angry and disappointed. Most of the passengers we visited with during the total cruise were upset with multiple complaints

Indeed the morning began "BAU" and this was an extremely rainy day. We camped out at the sports bar and shot videos of the glacier. At Modernos for lunch I enjoyed a slice of pepperoni​ pizza and salad with cold duck breast. This evening we decided to ​chill at the Four Seasons with other Solo / Single travelers for wine and appetizers and a cheese plate. The conversation was a great​, engaging and fun. Noto to mention we avoided waiting in the queue for a table at peak dinner time.

You don’t get as close to the glacier as commercials would have you believe. Better to hike a glacier if you get a chance. Hearing and seeing one calve is totally worth the patience waiting though.

The Glacier was so amazing and we saw a humpback whale put on a show for us!
