Our 15th cruise with Holland America. Once again, great trip. The staff was excellent. They were polite, courteous, professional and fun. We truly look forward to the care and treatment of Holland America. The entertainment and cuisine are also always first class. Holland America is our favorite. Tried others but they don't quite compare.
Cruise tips
We don't care for Costa Maya. The port has grown since we were there in 2005. No tour but we did go into the port. The vendors were horribly rude and one lied bold face to me. Every vendor had very high prices but wouldn't let you leave until you told them what you were willing to pay. We do not care for those types of people. If there is a next time, we won't even get off the ship.

Beautiful, lush country. Our guide spoke English very nicely and was very informative and fun. Took the tour to the fort.
Very new Port. Not many tours offered. Guide spoke English and was very knowledgeable and informative.
Only went from airport to cruise terminal
Very pretty. Lots of tourist trap shops. Very crowded main street. Sea and Land tour-ok

The ship itself is older. The amenities are still wonderful. The cabin steward was excellent -as usual. Every staff member that you see is friendly and polite. Food good but not quite as good as usual. Lovely ship.
