So I have never been on NCL, where is there smoking sections on the NCL Sun?

On Breakaway one of the outdoor bars on the starboard side allows smoking. The deck has plexiglas wind breaks so it is not a bad place.

I'm hoping the Breakaway smoking areas are better than the escape

Usually on most ships in the casino, the cigar bar and on many one side of the pool deck are designated smoking areas. There is an unofficial guide that someone has online found at this link but as always it is best to ask the cruise line.

I clearly asked where the smoking sections on NCL Sun are. Not on any other NCL Ships

There are designated areas on all ships but where depends on the class of ship so it varies. Have you tried messaging the cruise line?
