Seeking Guidance for pre-cruise land please! Fairbanks or Anchorage?

I have my cruise itinerary narrowed down to 2 land tour options (phew!) and hoping to get feedback to nail it down.

(both are pre-cruise, on Celebrity, Seward to Vancouver)

Option 1: fly into Fairbanks

2 nights in Fairbanks

2 nights in Denali

Option 2: fly into Anchorage

1 night Anchorage

1 night Denali

1 night Talkeetna

1 night Alyeska

its a tough call.Option 1 is fewer hotel changes, but if Talkeetna and Alyeska are must-see spots, I don’t mind. Also not sure for the domed train into Denali, whether it’s better from Anchorage or Fairbanks?

Appreciate any thoughts!

Happy many thanks!

Yeh..native Alaskan...long time cruiser. If he sees this you'll get the best answer possible. I've been to Alaska but can't answer specifically what you're trying to find out. Bumpin this to the top....

Thanks! Not familiar with Kenicott. Is that a contributor here?

I notice KENNICOTT is posting today...I'd defer to ALL things Alaskan to that man...can't beat a native..............

Thanks @Gwbigog! Just curious, why Princess for Alaska rather than Celebrity, NCL, RC, Holland America, etc? And any thoughts on the 2 cruisetour scenarios above?

See if Princess has a cruise/ land deal, that you like.
