Saving airfare choosing FLL over MIA or visa versa

I've heard conversations about choices of FLL airport over MIA or visa versa but how do you do it. Many may know about the option of taking the Tri-Rail which runs between MIA to West Palm Beach with stops in between but may not know about the free Tri-rail shuttles from the airport which accommodate your luggage too. This option could save on your taxi ride .

All that is true but for the adventurous it could also be fun too. I have used the Tri-rail many times and see airline passengers and even airline pilots and flight attendants using it to travel between airports.

It depends on where you're cruising from and how far away home is from the port. If it's only a few hours back home, then just drive. But if you live several states away, you're better off booking a flight.

Most cruisers fly into FLL or so it seems from my reading of posts over the years.

I don’t know about that Tri-rail, but we prefer to fly into FLL. Southwest has direct flights from Denver and it is an easier airport to navigate. Thanks for sharing the information about Tri-rail.
