Ahoy Sailor,

I just began sailing agian last December since 2010. I'm headed to Alaska on my 5th cruise this year on Friday.

I never concern myself with bargins. I look for 7-21 day iteneraries that appeal to me from the port of my choosing typically on Virgin Voyages and NCL.

My TIP:

YOLO, induldge and enjoy your vacation on land and sea!

If you're on Facebook try joining Cruising 101. The best cruise deals are usually through the casino. Try more than just one cruise line and form your own opinion rather than accepting others opinions as your own. When you find a good deal book it. Book in advance for the best selection of staterooms. If you intend to cruise often get a passport if you don't already have one, it will make the ongoing process of cruising easier.

Do your own thing for a couple of cruises then compare of what you experienced versus of what others did. You are going to hear lots of stuff, no one is never satisfied. A cruise is what you make it. We cruised a lot before co vid and now it is a shock to our system the way things and people have changed...not for the good.

Welcome Aboard! Happy

Welcome. Be sure to check out the topics at the top. Sign up for “price alerts”. Ask specific questions and many of us will be happy to answer. Your first cruise was before the shutdown, so understand that things are not quite the same. However, if you don’t let the little things get to you. Like any vacation things can go awry.
