New Cruising member......

Hi everyone!

My husband is a cruise 'virgin' and I am taking him on the Carnival Freedom at the end of January, 2022! I am so excited to have him experience the cruising life!

Quick question for everyone, which I know has been asked probably a million times already, but I am not going to go searching those million posts: How are things since COVID on the ships? I assume that the cruising teams have done everything possible to ensure safety and health aboard, but just was curious of cruise friends opinions.

Looking forward to hearing from you all, if any. LOL. Wink

Smooth Sailing,

Sara and Steve

It's OK. I lost my 'cruise virginity' many, many years ago. I think you'll enjoy the experience.

Your wife says she is already excited! It's all good and we won't tell anyone about your inexperience!

Have fun! Love

Since I haven't been on an ocean sailing vessel yet, I can only relate what I've read. Masks are to be worn when inside common areas and outside when 6ft cannon be maintained. Most cruise lines requires vacinations for those passenger who are elegible and waivers for those unable to get them. Most also require a negative covid test not more than two days prior to boarding. Hope this helps. I am sure others will add theeir impressions.
