Ionly did one cruise that was August on the MSC Armonia. We were one of those that were suppose to go to Cuba. I also went home (Pensacola) for a week. Slow year as far as cruises go. Happy

We too were cruiseless for 2019 but then our usual cruise time seems to have been fall to early winter which we could just not pull all the strings together to make it work this year but instead we have one in March which the the same itinerary we had booked a few years ago and had to cancel due to some health issues my wife was going through. However 2019 was still good as we booked 2 bucket list cruises, the one in March and we also booked the Greek isles one for Sept 2021. So with that we are pleasantly pleased.

Zero cruises for us. Airfare for us is equivalent to a cruise in itself. Envy those close to ports.

We had a wonderful 2019. While only going on two cruises, they were fantastic! In February we went on our first Journeys cruise and visited islands new to us. In Barbados we went on the mini-sub and loved every minute of it. In October we finished sailing on all the Carnival Dream class ships and joined one of favorite fun squad, CoCo! We sailed with good friends and met new ones. We planned 4 cruises for 2020. Great year!

2019 was a ridiculously busy travel year for us, including a personal record of 11 cruises – 5 of them in Europe!

The highlight was celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary cruising Scandinavia and the Norwegian fjords aboard Viking Sky – our first cruise with Viking Ocean and we’ll definitely be sailing with them again!

Another wonderful trip was our Active & Discovery river cruise in France aboard Avalon Poetry II. We’d already been on several river cruises, including some with Avalon Waterways, and loved every one of them. But all the included Active & Discovery excursions really took this trip to the next level! Opportunities for hiking, biking caving and kayaking; hands-on learning about wine, chocolate and art; there was no way to do even half of the amazing things offered on and off the ship!

Overall 2019 was a fantastic year for us! Can’t wait to see what the future holds!Big Smile
