Insurance recommendations

Looking for recommendations for travel insurance from some of the veterans here. If you can, please share what company and plan you use and why you chose it. If you've had to use your insurance how was your experience?

Background on me: My wife and I try to cruise once or twice a year and tend to go out of ports we can drive to, though we have occasionally flown. We love to do excursions at whatever ports we go to, but we don't usually do those that are very strenuous or physically risky and generally book through the cruiseline. We have directly booked taxi tours and rented cars. We are in good health, but have typical aging related issues.

I think we are mainly concerned with medical emergencies/evacuations and trip interruption/cancellation.

We use our homeowner & auto insurance company (USAA) and were very pleased with them. We did have to cancel a cruise due to the death of my father. They worked with us and wer very helpful.
