A few weeks ago I asked here about taking a bottle of home-made mead (wine made from honey) on board in accordance with Carnivals 1 bottle per person rule.
Although nobody had any experience with doing this, many suggested I ask John Heald.
Off a whim, I posted to his facebook page asking. Within 5 minutes, he posted that as long as it is wine, it should be allowed on board. (I specified that it was bottled, corked, unlabeled and untaxed).
