We really want to go to Turks and in summer, it is hard to find. These two ships go there and we like the look of the sunrise better, but the reviews are worse. Both ships go to Turks and both have 2-3 port stops. One is Amber Cove and the other is Princess Cay. Anyone go on either of these ships or ports and have advice?

The Carnival Mardi Gras (8/27, 9/3, 9/10, 9/24) as well as the Celebrity Infinity (8/6, 8/20, 9/3, 9/17) are two other much better choices that will be visiting Grand Turk in August and September. The MG also goes to Amber Cove and Nassau. The Infinity also goes to Key West, Bimini, Puerto Plata.

Princess Cay I’d a tender port so put that in your equation. Amber cove is not. We haven’t been on the Sunrise (since it became the Sunrise). We did enjoy the Freedom and that is our favorite class of ship. Since the destination of the Turks is your goal, pick one and enjoy the adventure. Personally, I’d go with the Freedom.
