flooding

Just wondering if anyone has heard about recent flooding in Montego Bay, wondering if we will still be going to this port, haven't heard otherwise yet. We have an excursion planned at Martha Braes river rafting.

Good luck with your port stop here. Let us know how it all worked out for you.

So I think you're going to be fine.

This is from the Jamaican newspaper "The Gleaner":

"Delano Seiveright senior advisor and strategist to to the Tourism Minister, says the organisers of the conference assessed the situation in Montego Bay yesterday.

*****He says the Convention Centre, Hotels, Airport, tour areas and all other related activities are far away from the affected areas."*****

From what I've read sounds like your fine as far as getting to the port. The work is still going to clear the roads so not sure about getting to your excursion. But from the looks of it your going the end of December and I suspect the roads will be cleared by then. Hope you have an awesome cruise!

If you’re going rafting, why worry about flooding? Wink
