According to the cruise line and the police investigators there wasn't a clown suit involved at all. I googled it hoping for a video but just found articles about the incident. Strange story for sure. As for all the brawls on the various cruise lines I believe there were clowns of some sort involved in all of them.

Theres a new insurance commercial on TV..can't remember the co its for...some guy gets rear ended by a car full of clowns. a lot of em... they're all over him apologizing. the thing is actually spooky. Those faces cause weird reactions...

Ive heard about multiple brawls on Carnival, Disney, and Royal Caribbean...this is the first one that Ive heard of a clown involved..

Sounds to me like some one was clowning around with someone that has no sense of humour ...,.

This story is soooo bazaar, I have trouble believing it. I've seen it on many news sites, but do we really know if it is true?

I do remember the s Australian cruise on Carnival Ship.... but can not remember the 3rd one.

Oh well, sad to say but this is the 3rd brawl I have read about in the past 2 years. I would suppose that the cruise lines in question would do the proper investigation and ban for life the instigators. Not something I would want to witness. A lot of innocent by-standers could get seriously injured.

I do have to say, one of my Transatlantic cruises was about 2/3 of the ship were Brits, they do know how to drink and how to party. If the cruise would have been a couple days longer they would have run out of beer. As is some crew were taking hard liquor out of the gift shops to be served in the bars as the bars ran out of some liquors. RCI gave free drink packages to Brits on that booked that cruise. No brawls that we saw, but lots of drunks, it was a fun cruise.
