Carnival Mardi Gras Balcony Question

First.... HELLO AGAIN EVERYONE!! It has been so long since I have been on! With the thing that shall not be named happening, being on here made me sad I was not cruising so I stepped away. BUT!! I have a new cruise booked for the first time since 2019!! WHOO!!!!!

I have a question about the Mardi Gras. Can the balcony dividers be opened to make your balcony larger if you are staying next to family or have conjoining rooms?

Opening the door makes it virtually impossible to join the balcony club though Big Smile

ya know, at one time I thought the balcony club was people who always booked balconies ( which we couldn’t afford back then ) and I attacked people for being snobs. To us a balcony was like flying first class. Now I know better. I was informed.

Yes, the dividers on the Mardi Gras can be opened. You'll have to ask your cabin steward to open it, as a special key/tool is required to unlock it from the closed position.

Most ship balconies can do that. I believe it would be a matter of asking your cabin steward and him getting confirmation from the other party.
