Any tips regarding Oosterdam / Alaska, for meeting fun couples?
Anybody have any suggestions about meeting people prior to cruise date. My wife and I are going for the first time. Don't know anyone else on this cruise, but like to do group activities and meet fun folks. We are open to having a good time and forgetting are cares behind. Our friends have said, that if you're open and social, you meet a ton of people on the ship once it gets under way. I left a comment on the site for our particular cruise. Haven't heard back from anyone so far.

CruiseCritic is THE place for active roll calls. Though some even there get little or no response. I'm very social and have been on many cruises, but have never met "a ton of people on the ship" - 20 or so on a particularly good sailing. That's particularly true on HAL, which doesn't really cater to partiers.
